Writing Resolutions
We encourage all delegates to submit resolutions for ReiMUN 28. Delegates must use the template provided by Reigate MUN to write up their resolutions (see below).
Delegates should submit the resolution as a word document with the setting anyone can view turned on.
This should be emailed to ReigateMUN@reigategrammar.org
In the subject of the email as well as the name of the document please follow below:
Committee name, Delegation, Topic letter
e.g. DISEC, Japan, Topic A
The template for resolutions can be found here. Resolutions must not exceed 15 operative clauses, including sub-clauses and sub-sub clauses. For details on how to write a resolution, head here:

Approvals
At ReiMUN 28 we are encouraging all delegates to submit their resolutions early to be PreApproved by our chairing and approvals team. This allows our staff to look at your resolution before the day and approve/reject the resolution ahead of the time. This will mean on the day, all delegates have to do is fill in a cover sheet and submit that to our staff. This will save delegates rushing to get their resolutions on the day and make the resolutions process less stressful and easier.
We will still open the chair-led approvals panel on the day, but it will take considerably longer for resolutions to get through the system than before, and as a consequence could result in the resolution not being debated.
We will only contact you regarding your resolution if it has been rejected by our approvals panel.
Cover Sheets
Each delegate must complete a cover sheet with 15 signatories from 10 schools on their resolution. For SC they must have 7 signatures from 5 schools. Even if a resolution is PreApproved, it will not be selected for debate until our chairs receive a completed and valid cover sheet.
